Arsenal manager
Arsene Wenger has no doubt Jens Lehmann can handle the pressure of the title run-in.

Wenger was forced to throw the 41-year-old goalkeeper, only recently coaxed out of retirement to provide emergency cover, into a must-win Barclays Premier League encounter at Blackpool after first-choice Manuel Almunia was injured in the warm-up.
The German, making his first Gunners appearance in three years, initially had little to do as his side established a 2-0 lead with a commanding first-half display at Bloomfield Road.
an authority
He then survived a few nervy moments as the visitors went on to record a 3-1 win that cut Manchester United's lead at the top of the table to seven points with a match in hand.
Wenger, who will have Almunia's fitness assessed, said: "I was not concerned because I replaced a good goalkeeper with a good goalkeeper.
"He did well. His decision-making was spot on. He did not have a lot to do because we controlled the game quite well. He is commanding, organising and an authority.
"We suffered a few set-pieces and on that front he is exceptionally good."

Dalglish enjoying strike partnership

Kenny Dalglish hailed Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez after Liverpool's win over Manchester City.

Both impressed in Monday night's 3-0 victory which was even more comfortable than the scoreline suggests.
Suarez was denied early on when his shot was tipped onto a post by goalkeeper Joe Hart but Carroll made the breakthrough everyone at Anfield had been waiting for when he scored his first two goals since joining for £35m in January.
pretty special
The 22-year-old smashed one past Hart from 25 yards and headed in Raul Meireles' cross either side of Dirk Kuyt scoring his 11th of the season.
But in addition to the goals it was the relationship between his two forwards, bought for a combined £57.8m, which pleased Dalglish.
"You can see the more Andy and Luis play together the better the understanding is," said the Scot.
"I thought Luis played outstandingly and was unfortunate not to open the scoring when he hit the post.
"I think everyone can see their partnership is developing but the quality of the service up to them was pretty special.
"It is great to see the big man get off the mark. The first one was a fantastic strike, the second a good header."

A fine first-half display from Liverpool ended the match as a contest before half-time.

Liverpool's record signing Andy Carroll scored his first goals for his new club as Manchester City suffered not only a blow to their Champions League aspirations at Anfield but their FA Cup ambitions too.
The £35m striker struck twice in his sixth match since arriving in January from Newcastle United as the Reds kept alive their hopes of European football next season by moving to within five points of Tottenham Hotspur.
Dirk Kuyt slotted his 11th of the campaign in between Carroll's double as fourth-placed City, who are just three points ahead of Spurs having played a match more, lost leading scorer Carlos Tevez to injury just five days before their cup semi-final against Manchester United.

Roberto Mancini believes Liverpool's rejuvenation under Kenny Dalglish speaks volumes about the Scot's capabilities in the dugout

The Manchester City boss admits he has huge respect for his Reds counterpart and feels King Kenny's charges will pose his side a far greater threat than when they met at Eastlands earlier in the season.
Mancini said: "Dalglish is a fantastic manager. He was an incredible player, I remember him very well. Liverpool are a very strong team, especially when they play at home.
"They lost two important players in (Javier) Mascherano and (Fernando) Torres but they bought (Luis) Suarez, (Andy )Carroll as well as other good players. It will be a very hard game."

man united history

Manchester United are the most successful Premier League club having won the title 11 times. It all began in 1993 when manager Sir Alex Ferguson ended a 26-year wait to lift the Premier League crown.
The signing of Eric Cantona for £1.2m from Leeds United proved a masterstroke as the Frenchman was instrumental in the title victory, along with the likes of Gary Pallister, Denis Irwin, Ryan Giggs and Paul Ince.
United retained the trophy in the following campaign and romped to further titles in 1994, 1996, 1997, 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2003. More silverware was added to the Red Devils' burgeoning trophy cabinet with FA Cup success in 1994, 1996, 1999 and 2004, plus League Cup victories in 1992 and 2006.
Perhaps the most memorable time in the club's history was the treble-winning season of 1999 when they added the European Champions League trophy to the league title and FA Cup.
Chelsea briefly broke their league dominance with title wins in 2005 and 2006. But in the 2006/07 season, the Red Devils roared back to regain the Barclays Premiership.
They went one better in 2007/08, enjoying their most successful campaign since winning the treble. They saw off the challenge of Chelsea and Arsenal to win an exciting Barclays Premier League title race and defeated the Blues on penalties in the Champions League final after a 1-1 draw between the two sides in Moscow.
In 2008/09, United made it a hat-trick of titles, also winning the Carling Cup but narrowly missing out to Barcelona in the Champions League final.
They retained the Carling Cup in 2010 but finished a point behind Chelsea in the Barclays Premier League after a tense race which went to the final day of the campaign
